Hi, I’m Theresa.

My Experience

In my career, I have provided counseling and psychological solutions for a myriad of clients using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and positive psychology. My work with clients encompassed many issues — including trauma, divorce, career transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, ADHD, spirituality, personal growth and self-acceptance — empowering them with the strategies and skills needed to change their lives. I’m also a supervisor, consultant and trainer; and have taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in psychology.

I am sensitive to the impact of cultural climate issues and the ways marginalization, discrimination, and oppression impact individuals and systems; including the complexities of mixed-heritage identities. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all individuals.

A Little More

I enjoy a regular meditation practice and love guiding others on their path with meditation. I love being in nature and walk for miles and miles each week, and enjoy the occasional tennis match, with some yoga sprinkled in there too 🧘🏽‍♀️. I’m a mom to two beautiful and intelligent sons who I couldn’t be more proud of, and I enjoy traveling the world solo, and with family, friends, and my loving husband.

My Approach

I am committed to helping women navigate their biggest career and lifestyle questions with intention and clarity. My approach is unique because it is grounded in my studies of yoga, meditation, and Buddhism - including the teachings of Pema Chodron - and my traditional education, including undergraduate and doctoral degrees in psychology from the University of Florida (go Gators!).

With over two decades of successfully guiding clients through significant career and life challenges as a psychologist, I’ve been called to amplify my impact in a new role outside of healthcare. This program is, in part, answering that call - to empower women globally through collective support to change how we work in the world. Drawing from my expertise, I’ve curated this program to provide guidance, structure and support on this most important journey (and have some fun along the way!).
