  • Are you worried about your teen?

Are they “stressed out”, anxious and irritable? Have you noticed they seem to worry too much and are afraid of the worst possible things happening? Do they seem on edge and complain of muscle tension or trouble sleeping?
These are some symptoms of anxiety and we can help.

Has your teen lost interest in school and even the fun things they used to enjoy? Do they have trouble sleeping or are sleeping too much? Have they said things like “I’m not good enough”? Do they seem sad and lethargic or angry and irritable?

These symptoms could be signs of depression. Our psychologists are  experts in psychological health and wellness are here to help.

When a child transitions into adolescence, it can be an exciting yet confusing time for them and you. Teens can be quite complex and their behavior confusing. Many of the changes in behavior and mood are normal (whether we like it or not!), even though these changes can disrupt how things used to be. Sometimes parents just need support or a little guidance to parent in a way that allows your young one to thrive in this process of becoming an adult.

We know you love your teen and want them to be themselves, have peace, and flourish. It is frustrating when you see them struggling and we understand the helplessness you may feel. You are not alone.  Let us partner with you to help your teen come to a place of wellness. Our interventions provide a holistic approach to psychological health. This includes addressing social, emotional, physical, and family factors. To do this, we use evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Sometimes a psychological evaluation is used to provide in depth information on their cognitive and emotional functioning. Let us help you sort it all out.

You have come to the right place for a comprehensive treatment approach. Your teen can feel safe with us..

  • We offer tele mental health counseling and support.

Telehealth is the provision of health services and care through video conferencing in lieu of, or in addition to, traditional face-to-face sessions. Video sessions are appropriate for many types of appointments.

Please contact us if you would like more information.

  • A specialty of our staff is the evaluation and management of
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children, teens, and adults.

Symptoms of ADHD may include: difficulty sustaining attention and problems with inattention to detail, including more frequent mistakes than others of the same age; often not seeming to listen when spoken to directly; often not following through on instructions or activities; failing to finish schoolwork or workplace duties; difficulty in organizing tasks or activities; avoiding, disliking, or seeming reluctant to engage in tasks that require sustained mental effort; often losing things that are necessary for tasks or activities; being easily distracted by extraneous stimuli; or often forgetful in daily activities. The hyperactivity element may include the following: fidgeting, squirming while in their seat, restlessness, or difficulty remaining seated; running and climbing when inappropriate; difficulty remaining quiet; restless or acting as though “driven like a motor”; excessive talking, interrupting, or blurting out comments before others are finished; or having difficulty in waiting one’s turn.

If you or your loved one seem to be struggling, call us, we can help.
We take the time needed for you to feel understood, heard and known as you go through the process of diagnosis and treatment.
